4 more new detections of COVID-19infected patients bringing total in Sri Lanka to 110.
Two of them had arrived from Chennai India.
Contact tracing is being actively pursued.
Request is being made to report any new arrivals from overseas after 14th March 2020.
Curfew is being actively enforced and curfew breakers are arrested.
Religious gatherings are banned.
Only 'Osu Sala' - State Pharmaceutical Corporation outlets are opened. Other private pharmacies are closed.
Today was a Saturday. Osu Sala branches closed at 2pm.
Notice pasted outside Osu Sala branches, after 2pm, instructed the patients, to send the prescriptions by 'Viber' or 'Whatsap' applications via cell-phones, with the promise that the patients drugs would be sent by post.
Villagers taking produce to the village market, during curfew hours, have been instructed to get a  permit from the Police.
